With a low student-to-teacher ratio, we ensure each child receives the attention and support they need.

Site Director - Hola! My name is Jocelyn Campos–Lora and I have been part of the EV community for a little over 4 years now. I am 29 years old, raised and born here in Portland Oregon. My family comes from Nayarit and Sinaloa. On my time off I enjoy spending time with my family and partner. I love going to the beach and finding new places to explore with friends/family. After graduating high school I was undecided what career path to take yet I knew I wanted to help families as best as I could. After attending college for one year, I was introduced to the Early Childhood Program and loved it. I graduated from Mt. Hood Community College with an Associates in Applied Science and majored in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. I have been in this field for over 7 years. I’ve worked with various ages ranging from 6 months to 5 years. Over the past few years I have expanded my knowledge about various philosophies; including RIE and Reggio. I believe in treating children with respect and letting them be as independent as they can.
My name is Susana Montano, I am originally from Guanajuato Mexico. More than two decades ago I immigrated to Oregon. I am a mother of two children, a dog and some chickens. I enjoy my free time connected with nature and animals. I also like to learn and read up on my topics of interest. My passion for early childhood and education began 23 years ago when I volunteered at the Head Start school for a year. After my experience, I decided to study human development / early childhood and education, and work with young children. I graduated from Mount Hood Community College with an Associate of Science in Early Childhood and Education in 2015. Since then, my acquired knowledge and experience have been in continuation during these years. Likewise, my motivation to serve the community and families is more evident every day. My values and philosophy are based on respect and love for everything that exists around me. I firmly believe in the abilities of each individual as an essential part of the world we inhabit. My commitment to children is to; offer a healthy environment of love, acceptance, gratitude, freedom, respect, creativity, and joy for authentic internal and external development.
